SBCDA Association Structure

Board of Directors
The Sylvania Business and Community Development Association (SBCDA) is governed by a nine person board of trustees. These board members, elected by SBCDA members, act as the strategic thinking leadership group that sets the direction for the SBCDA.

Terms of the board members are: three members serve one term, three members serve two terms and three members serve three terms.

Executive Committee
The executive committee is a sub-set of the board of directors and serves to execute the strategic plan developed by the board. This committee is elected by the board of directors.

Sub Committees
SBCDA is comprised of seven sub committees comprised of volunteers that help the executive committee complete task to reach the goal of the strategic plan.
